Your Impact & Responsibilities

Role Purpose

As a Shift Manager at Raising Cane’s, you play a key role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations while upholding our high standards across all zones during each shift. You will act as the manager on duty, overseeing cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and crew leadership to create an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Operational Excellence – Ensure all Raising Cane’s policies and standards are met throughout the shift.
  • Shift Management & Execution – Utilize operational tools, logs, and forms to monitor performance, document results, and take corrective action when needed.
  • Team Leadership – Direct and support crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence – Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest has a great experience.
  • Employee Recognition & Support – Utilize the company’s reward and recognition program to motivate and encourage team members.
  • Managerial Oversight – Authorize discounts, promotions, timeclock adjustments, and other employee functions requiring managerial approval.
  • Facility & Cleanliness Standards – Ensure the restaurant remains clean, organized, and in good working order.
  • Additional Duties – Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support restaurant operations.
