Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Catering Manager who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service. In this full-time role with Compass Group Ireland, you will oversee our catering and service operations, working 40 hours per week. As an Assistant Catering Manager, you’ll ensure our kitchens and service counters operate smoothly, delivering incredible food experiences. Key Responsibilities:

Support the Catering Manager in organizing and leading the preparation and presentation of all food and hospitality services to the highest standards, aligning with contract specifications.

Assist in recruiting, leading, motivating, and managing the team to deliver superior food and service.

Develop solid and trusted client relationships.

Drive sales through effective marketing and promotions.

Assist in managing the service within budget and financial targets when required.

Oversee all aspects of health & safety and food safety.

Manage food wastage and contribute to Net Zero commitments.
Our Ideal Assistant Catering Manager Will:

Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.

Have a minimum of one year of catering experience.

Possess experience managing teams in a similar role.

Experience in a similar environment is a plus (not essential).

Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Demonstrate excellent financial acumen.

Exhibit outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill.
