What You Need to Succeed
Required:
- Over 3 years of experience in multi-state payroll within a high-volume corporate environment (3,000+ employees).
- In-depth knowledge of multi-state laws and tax regulations, along with their implications for financial and statutory reporting.
- Exceptional time management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting payroll deadlines and performing effectively in high-pressure situations.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance when handling sensitive payroll information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a determined and solution-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated success in team collaboration, showcasing excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external payroll service providers.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
Preferred:
- Experience with payroll systems such as UKG Pro, ServiceNow, and Workday HR (or other similar HRIS and payroll platforms).
- Familiarity with equity transactions in payroll, including ESPP and RSU.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.
