Key Job Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Risk Management: Lead your team to effectively manage risks, utilize company tools wisely, make sound decisions, and enhance the employee experience daily. Ensure all practices comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant federal, state, and provincial laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Partnership and Employee Engagement: Collaborate with Business Leaders to jointly oversee all people-related matters. Foster a culture of engagement where employees feel safe, valued, supported, and respected. Use your HR expertise to provide strategic guidance and make informed decisions.
  • Coaching and Talent Development: Mentor and develop HR team members and operations partners at all levels. Implement talent management strategies to ensure fair selection, retention, development, and optimization of team performance and engagement. Address performance issues promptly and prioritize effective performance management.
  • Employee Sentiment and Engagement: Stay informed about employee sentiment by regularly reviewing feedback and sentiment data using company tools. Analyze trends to inform strategic decisions and address cultural challenges. Hold leaders and teams accountable for delivering a positive employee experience and implement action plans to enhance engagement.
  • Change Management: Lead and support organizational and operational changes. Maintain open communication with your team, manage stakeholder relationships, remove obstacles to change adoption, and model effective change management practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Human Resources or equivalent leadership roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or MBA in HR Management.
  • Experience supporting large hourly employee groups (2,000+ employees).
  • Background in call centers, distribution centers, or manufacturing environments.
  • A career demonstrating steady advancement in HR Management over the last 7-10+ years.
  • Proven success in challenging roles that demonstrate exceptional performance in previous positions.
  • Prior experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports, as well as managing large HR teams with skilled HR professionals.
  • Experience supporting large hourly employee groups within distribution, manufacturing, or call center environments.
