About the Role
The Occupational Therapist assesses and treats participants referred by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in accordance with a physician’s order. Treatment includes a range of therapeutic procedures, activities, assistive devices, and adaptive equipment aimed at maximizing each participant’s functional potential and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution recognized by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education or the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Successful completion of the NBCOT OTR examination.
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Kentucky.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets state and organizational insurance requirements, with personal auto liability coverage of $100,000/$300,000 for bodily injury.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with geriatrics required; 3 years preferred. Additional experience with pediatrics is a plus but not required.
- Compliance with Bluegrass Care Navigators’ employee health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
