About Us
Established in 1888, Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital has been a cornerstone of community healthcare for over 125 years as a not-for-profit institution. In 1996, Cottage Health was founded as the parent organization, overseeing Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital along with its affiliates: Cottage Children’s Medical Center, Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital, Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital, and Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital.
Guided by a volunteer board of directors from the greater Santa Barbara community, Cottage Health is dedicated to providing outstanding medical care to the residents of the Central and South Coast.
