About Tandem:
We manufacture and sell the t:slim X2 insulin pump with Control-IQ technology and are committed to transforming diabetes management.
About the Role:
This role involves designing and architecting mobile apps that communicate with insulin pumps. You’ll be both an individual contributor and a technical leader, mentoring and guiding other engineers. A design-first mentality, ability to break down complex features, and understanding of regulatory requirements are essential. You’ll contribute to platform best practices, proactively design for performance, and ensure code quality through testing. This role requires expertise in iOS development (Swift), knowledge of cross-platform frameworks, and familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy.

Extra Awesome:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 4+ years of mobile application design and development experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $190,000 – $220,000 (starting base pay range, dependent on experience, location, and market).
