About the Job
Brand Manager, Commercial Platforms – BISSELL
BISSELL, a global leader in household cleaning and pet care, seeks a Brand Manager, Commercial Platforms, to develop and execute cross-category marketing strategies. We’re driven by a commitment to exceeding customer needs and helping families and pets share happy, healthy homes. Our “Every Purchase Saves Pets™” program supports the BISSELL Pet Foundation®.
About the Role:
This role is critical in developing and executing BISSELL’s commercial marketing strategies, championing platforms like “Pet Proven” to drive consumer engagement, brand loyalty, and revenue growth. The Brand Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to bring these platforms to life across all consumer touchpoints.
Responsibilities:

Platform Strategy & Execution:
- Lead strategy development and execution for assigned commercial platforms (e.g., “Pet Proven,” cross-category technology).
- Define and implement platform roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, and Global Sales for activation.

Messaging & Storytelling:
- Develop compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Craft innovation stories showcasing the value of BISSELL products and technologies.
- Partner with creative agencies and internal teams to develop marketing assets (A+ content, POP, videos, presentations, PR/Social).

Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams (product marketing, engineering, integrated marketing, legal, sales).
- Communicate platform strategies and progress to stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and resources.
- Manage tactical execution and high-level strategy/messaging.
Qualifications:

Required Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or a related role (CPG, small appliances, or home technology industries).
- Proven track record of successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience developing and presenting business cases/strategy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Passion for pets, innovation, and the BISSELL brand.

- MBA (preferred).
