Job Summary
This role oversees operations for Restaurants, Bars, and Room Service (where applicable), ensuring smooth daily functions. Responsibilities include supervising restaurant operations, assisting with menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting staff during peak hours. The goal is to enhance guest and employee satisfaction while optimizing financial performance. Additionally, this role identifies training needs and implements development plans accordingly.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- Option 1: High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related field.
- Option 2: A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, plus 2 years of relevant experience.
Core Responsibilities
Daily Operations Management
- Supervise and manage employees while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Possess a strong understanding of team roles to step in when needed.
- Maintain service quality and sanitation standards across restaurants, bars, and room service.
- Adjust staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
Leading the Food & Beverage Team
- Use strong communication and leadership skills to guide and motivate staff.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting trust, respect, and teamwork.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and ethical decision-making.
- Identify staff development needs and provide mentorship, coaching, and training.
- Set and prioritize goals to enhance department efficiency and performance.
- Enforce food & beverage policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and liquor laws.
- Maintain open communication and collaboration within the team.
Delivering Outstanding Customer Service
- Strive to exceed guest expectations, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.

- Supervise shift operations in the absence of the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
