Marketing Manager – ZEISS (Dublin, CA)
ZEISS, a global leader in optics and optoelectronics with a 177-year history, seeks a Marketing Manager to play a vital role in delivering the US SPS strategic marketing plan. With over 42,000 employees globally and over 4,000 in the US and Canada, ZEISS offers a diverse range of portfolios across various segments.
About the Role:
The Marketing Manager will manage and deliver the US SPS strategic marketing plan, aligning objectives and activities with the US SPS commercial business plan, including revenue, share, and profitability targets.
Responsibilities:
- Provide marketing support to the US SPS commercial team to maximize market share, revenue, profitability, and product lifecycle of the DORC product range.
- Manage the US SPS marketing budget.
- Execute the US Marketing Strategy and operational plans, setting objectives and KPIs.
- Manage the USA KOL (Key Opinion Leader) and AB (Advisory Board) program.
- Plan and manage ZEISS SPS presence at US exhibitions and trade shows.
- Develop and adapt US SPS marketing collateral, using HQ-generated and locally developed materials.
- Manage US agencies to deliver marketing collateral.
- Manage US SPS advertising, media placements, and interaction with media owners.
- Generate and execute articles, videos, and PR communications.
- Manage and promote the US digital marketing campaign.
- Execute pre-agreed elements of product lifecycle management.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial/sales and marketing experience, preferably in MedTech.
- Ophthalmic industry experience is desirable.
- Experience in both executional marketing and commercial initiatives, and developing a US marketing strategy.
- Comfortable working autonomously.
- Experience in product launches and lifecycle management is essential.
- Proven executional marketing skills across congresses, print, digital, and event marketing.
- Commercial, creative, and solutions-oriented.
- Ability to work effectively within a global company.
- Must be able to travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business.
- Strong financial/analytical background.

Compensation:
$110,000 – $130,000 annually (may vary based on location, role, qualifications, experience, etc.). This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
