Key Responsibilities
Loading & Unloading Deliveries
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles, including vans, trucks, and containers.
- Utilize appropriate equipment such as ladders, order pickers, and forklifts to complete tasks efficiently.
Receiving Products & Materials
- Accurately compare and record incoming deliveries against purchase orders and vendor packing slips to verify materials and products.
- Properly log all shipments into the mail tracking system for record-keeping and distribution.
Order Picking
- Select and prepare warehouse orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Complete all paperwork associated with pick sheets correctly.
- Assemble pallets according to safety guidelines for transport to shops and other locations.
Product Rotation
- Rotate stock and materials appropriately based on shelf life.
- Accurately report expiration dates for proper record-keeping and inventory management.
Inventory Accuracy
- Maintain accurate records of product locations.
- Assist with cycle counts and product verification.
- Promptly report any discrepancies to the line manager for resolution.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Report any safety concerns or deficiencies to line managers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow internal compliance guidelines for maintenance, safety, and security, including ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials International), NEC (National Electrical Code), NSF (National Science Foundation), OSHA, as well as state and local regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and evenings during the park’s operating season.
- Experience: At least six months of experience in warehouse operations or a related field is preferred.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work at different heights with proper safety training.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to accuracy, safety, and maintaining a high level of focus under pressure.
