About the Job
Bartender Responsibilities:
- Maintain bar inventory, including daily requisitions.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of liquors, drink recipes, pricing, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.
- Be familiar with all available beverages, recipes, and prices.
- Follow accurate cash handling procedures, including discounts, POS system operation, bank procedures, and tip policies. Ensure accurate guest charges and cash intake.
- Anticipate guest needs, provide prompt service, and maintain positive guest relations.
- Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Complete required alcohol liability training within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter.
- Ability to work independently.
