Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in engineering investigations and design support from conceptualization to project completion.
  • Conduct geotechnical field investigations, select appropriate lab tests, analyze field and lab data, and contribute to geotechnical report development.
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates for geotechnical investigations and design projects.
  • Perform fieldwork including construction observation, instrumentation installation and monitoring, and on-site inspections.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus.
  • Strong technical expertise across various geotechnical analysis and design disciplines.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedules as needed to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Capability to lift and carry 30+ pounds of equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work effectively with teams.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in geotechnical design.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software, such as Geostudio, LPile, APile, gINT, or FLAC
