Bartender Position

Summary:
As a Bartender, you will provide exceptional guest service by taking orders, crafting cocktails according to company standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing a cash bank, promoting the establishment through social media and networking, and contributing to the company’s overall goals and values.
Essential Functions:
- Follow established food and beverage service procedures.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as food menus, using effective selling techniques.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including equipment and supplies, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with management and other staff to address guest requests and ensure seamless service.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of restaurant experience and/or 2 years of bartending experience in a comparable establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and food.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient reading and writing skills in English.
- Basic math skills and calculator proficiency.
- Must be 21 years of age and hold valid TIPS and Food Handler certifications.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, including heavy trays, equipment, and delicate glassware.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces.
- Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
