Key Responsibilities

  • Independently makes major design recommendations and critical design decisions with minimal oversight.
  • Plans and organizes design work across various disciplines for projects of all sizes, delegating tasks to project team members.
  • Reviews and approves correspondence prepared by junior staff.
  • Actively engages in quality control processes to ensure project excellence.

Technical Expertise

  • Provides leadership in key areas of the Technical Operations Team for both large and small projects.
  • Serves as a technical advisor, analyzing engineering challenges and preparing detailed reports.
  • Plays a crucial role in quality control reviews for complex projects.
  • Offers on-site technical support, resolving field issues independently with minimal input from senior staff.

Required Skills

  • Expert knowledge of civil engineering principles related to land development.
  • Strong mentoring, leadership, and motivational abilities.
  • Proficiency in conducting final quality control checks within the area of expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to individuals or groups.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
