Key Responsibilities
- Independently makes major design recommendations and critical design decisions with minimal oversight.
- Plans and organizes design work across various disciplines for projects of all sizes, delegating tasks to project team members.
- Reviews and approves correspondence prepared by junior staff.
- Actively engages in quality control processes to ensure project excellence.
Technical Expertise
- Provides leadership in key areas of the Technical Operations Team for both large and small projects.
- Serves as a technical advisor, analyzing engineering challenges and preparing detailed reports.
- Plays a crucial role in quality control reviews for complex projects.
- Offers on-site technical support, resolving field issues independently with minimal input from senior staff.
Required Skills
- Expert knowledge of civil engineering principles related to land development.
- Strong mentoring, leadership, and motivational abilities.
- Proficiency in conducting final quality control checks within the area of expertise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to individuals or groups.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
