Minimum Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma required.
    • Successful completion of the Trinity Health Trainee Program with achievement of program productivity and quality standards or at least one (1) year of experience in revenue cycle functions within a hospital, clinic, health insurance company, managed care organization, or healthcare financial service setting.
    • Relevant experience in medical claims processing, financial counseling, financial clearance, accounting, or customer service preferred.
    • Experience in a complex, multi-site healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies is preferred.
  • Communication & Organizational Abilities:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external customers.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Role Responsibilities:

    • Perform billing and follow-up activities promptly and accurately to minimize financial loss for both patients and the Ministry Organization.
