About the Job

Tarte Cosmetics seeks an Assistant Social Media Manager to support their organic social media efforts. This role involves assisting with content planning and execution, contributing to the weekly content calendar, supporting social plans for launches and activations, identifying trends, and helping track performance and analytics. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Senior Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities include assisting with the social content calendar, building and maintaining the online community, writing and editing social media copy, helping manage posting schedules, collaborating with the creative team on assets, working cross-functionally, communicating content needs to creators, assisting with content creation (filming, modeling, editing), monitoring social SEO, supporting social media reports, and researching ways to enhance brand awareness.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in social media marketing. Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work effectively in a team. A passion for beauty and social media trends, and experience with content creation, video editing, and analytics tools are also required.

The salary range is $75,000-$85,000, dependent on experience and education.
