Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Develop & Pitch Creative Ideas: Conceptualize and present innovative static designs and lo-fi lifestyle video content for TikTok and Instagram that align with the brand’s overall strategy and vision.
- End-to-End Content Production: Design, produce, edit, and write copy for all social content across TikTok and Instagram.
- Stay Trend-Savvy: Keep up with the latest trends and formats in short-form content to ensure relevance and audience engagement.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Bring forward social-led ideas and work closely with strategists and brand teams to execute effective strategies.
Community Management
- Social Listening: Monitor social channels to identify trends, opportunities, and conversations that drive engagement and brand relevance.
- Strategic Execution: Partner with brand and social teams to implement organic social media strategies, including audits, measurement plans, and more.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization: Track content performance metrics and develop optimization strategies to increase engagement, reach, and followers.
- Reporting: Prepare and present quarterly reports to key stakeholders, highlighting social engagement insights and content recommendations.
Executional Excellence
- Monitor & Moderate: Track social mentions to identify engagement opportunities and provide insights to brands and cross-functional teams.
- Real-Time Engagement: Interact with consumers, participate in relevant cultural conversations, and foster positive brand interactions.
- Social Media Calendar Management: Plan, schedule, and publish content, including copywriting for both organic and paid social media campaigns.
- Influencer Engagement: Identify and collaborate with influencers who align with the brand for potential partnerships and programs.
- Content Optimization: Repurpose agency-created assets and user-generated content (UGC) to maintain an active and relevant social presence, securing approvals as needed.
- Event Coverage: Attend in-person brand activations and events to capture content and provide real-time social media coverage.
Integrated Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Social-Led Activations: Develop social-driven activation ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns.
- Stakeholder Partnerships: Work closely with teams in social strategy, social intelligence, influencer/creator management, experiential marketing, PR, and agencies to fulfill organic content needs and enhance activations.
- Consumer Engagement Services Collaboration: Coordinate with customer care teams to address product inquiries, complaints, and crisis management, ensuring timely and brand-aligned responses.
- Legal & Compliance Coordination: Partner with stakeholders to manage legal processes for social media sweepstakes and contests in collaboration with brand teams.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience in content creation and social media community management for a brand or organization.
- Strong content creation skills that reflect brand strategy and voice.
- Creative thinker with a deep understanding of culture and trends.
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- Canva Pro
- InShot & CapCut
- Social media platforms (Instagram & TikTok)
- Video editing tools
- Deep knowledge of the social media landscape, including TikTok & Instagram trends, best practices, and analytics.
- Ability to analyze data and extract key insights to inform content strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with diverse stakeholders and teams.
