About the Job
Maesa, a large independent beauty incubator, seeks a Social Media Senior Manager for their Kristin Ess brand. This role involves defining social strategies and building annual social marketing plans based on consumer needs, competitive analysis, social media metrics, and market dynamics. The manager will collaborate with retailer and key customer teams to ensure brand success and growth. This position requires someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and can work independently and collaboratively. The role is based in NYC and requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office. Reporting to the Director, Brand Management, the Social Media Sr. Manager will lead social strategy development, create and execute social media marketing plans across platforms (TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.), oversee content calendar creation and execution, lead community engagement, manage cross-functional collaborations, focus on product narratives and marketing launches, and stay current on social and cultural trends.
Qualifications include 6+ years of experience leading social media and brand content strategies, experience with a consumer-facing brand (beauty preferred), advanced marketing knowledge of major social platforms, proven experience growing brands on social media, a strong mix of creative and analytical thinking, a pulse on culture, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
The salary range is $105,000-$120,000 annually, with bonus eligibility.
