Experience
- At least one year of experience working in a licensed child development center.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to toileting, food handling, and handwashing.
- Understanding of Developmentally Appropriate Practices as outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
- Familiarity with current research and philosophies in early childhood education, including Pre-K Guidelines and Early Literacy.
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with children, staff, and parents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Capacity to follow directions and guidance to meet the needs of children, classrooms, and parents.
- Physical ability to lift and carry children up to 30 pounds as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to perform CPR/First Aid for injured children who may be unable to stand or walk.
