The Area Finance & Business Administration Manager works to meet business goals while partnering with area, sales and operations managers, project/service teams, Finance and Business Administration (FBA) colleagues, and auditors.
As a Area Finance & Business Administration Manager, you will:
Serves as a commercial partner to the Area Managers, taking responsibility for the Area’s financial performance. In collaboration with Area management, oversees the financial performance, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
Leads and manages finance, accounting, and business administration activities across all SI Buildings business segments within the Area. Evaluates current and proposed financial plans/forecasts, providing recommendations to enhance the Area’s growth and profitability.
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day business transactions and strategic initiatives within the assigned Areas, working closely with Area General Managers. Drives and monitors productivity initiatives in partnership with Zone/Area Management to improve profitability and competitiveness.
Collaborates with Commercial Project Managers, Sales, and Operations Managers on large, impactful projects within the Areas to ensure proper project controlling.
Ensures compliance with both external and internal accounting and reporting guidelines, and monitors operational Area performance, including operational balance, slip, absorption, and utilization.
Handles cost center controlling for the Area and mentors/ leads Commercial Project Managers and other team members as needed. Additionally, participates in special projects supporting local business needs or broader field and home office initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Over 6 years of comprehensive experience in Accounting/Finance
- Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
- Proven track record of progressively increasing responsibilities and the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Competencies: Results-oriented; customer-focused; skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams; team player
- Skills: Strong financial, leadership, interpersonal, and analytical abilities; proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Experience in construction industry
- Knowledge of construction accounting with bond and lien law experience

The salary range for this position is $118,300 – $202,800, with an annual incentive target of 15% of the base salary. The actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as budget, candidate experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
