Key Responsibilities & Duties
Social Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement social media strategies that align with Youtheory’s marketing calendar and brand objectives.
Platform Management
- Oversee daily management, content creation, and execution for Youtheory US and Canada on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
Storytelling & Content Creation
- Produce engaging, always-on social content that embodies the brand voice, strengthening brand loyalty and engagement.
- Develop detailed content briefs and collaborate with the Creative Team to ensure high-quality execution of social media content.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing and Creative Teams to execute integrated campaigns.
- Assist with influencer collaborations and user-generated content (UGC) coordination.
- Support the planning and coordination of paid social content.
Community Engagement
- Actively engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and conversations to foster engagement and support brand loyalty.
- Organize social giveaways in partnership with like-minded brands to grow the audience.
Content Calendar Management
- Develop and maintain organized content calendars across platforms, ensuring timely and consistent scheduling.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize social media performance metrics to refine content strategy and improve engagement.
Social Listening & Trendspotting
- Stay updated on the latest trends in wellness, social culture, and emerging platforms to keep content relevant and engaging.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 3-5 years of social media experience, ideally with a consumer-facing brand.
- Must provide a portfolio showcasing previous social media work, including a video featuring on-camera presence (from a prior role or personal creative endeavor).
- Passion for health and wellness topics and emerging industry trends.
- Comfortable creating video content, both behind and in front of the camera.
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms, with knowledge of audience behavior and best practices.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
- Deep knowledge of social media culture, trends, and memes, with a keen ability to identify new opportunities for brand engagement.
- Experience using social media management platforms (e.g., Later, Sprout Social).
- Creative thinker with strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
