About the Job

Jellycat, a leading brand in luxury soft toys, is known for its original and innovative designs. Our products are sold online and through stockists across the UK, Europe, and worldwide.

We are seeking a Business Analyst to play a key role in our finance department, identifying business needs, leading process reviews, defining change requirements, and supporting the delivery of IT system improvements. The role will involve working on multiple projects across different areas of the business and collaborating with key stakeholders and partners to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Improvement: Analyze and document existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest enhancements or standalone improvements.
  • Data Mapping & Analysis: Identify and validate relationships between sources and target systems, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Current vs. Future State Analysis: Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, proposing innovative solutions to enhance ERP functionality.
  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to define business needs, document requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and other business units, ensuring alignment and managing expectations.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the reliability of ERP implementations.
  • Change Management & Training: Develop training materials, conduct sessions for end-users, and collect feedback to enhance ERP functionality.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Qualification in Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering, or at least 3 years of experience in a Finance Business Analyst role.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Dynamics 365 or AX 2012 in finance and accounting.
  • Experience in financial systems solutions (e.g., budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, inventory management).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience in process redesign and business process mapping.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including intermediate formula skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Power BI and SQL query building.
  • A degree in MIS, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
