About the Role
As a Restaurant Shift/Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering top-tier customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership.
🔹 Customer Service
- Lead by example, ensuring customers are always the top priority.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach in all areas of operations.
- Efficiently schedule staff to meet customer demand.
- Support the team in delivering fast, efficient service.
- Conduct regular store walk-throughs to ensure high standards.
🔹 Team Leadership & Development
- Foster a positive, inclusive team environment.
- Provide constructive feedback and set clear goals and objectives.
- Encourage staff to share ideas and concerns.
- Support performance management and work closely with HR when needed.
🔹 Driving Sales & Growth
- Analyze sales trends, peak trade times, and product popularity to drive performance.
- Ensure correct product merchandising and stock levels.
- Coach employees in upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation.
🔹 Operational Excellence
- Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, staff retention, food safety, and customer experience.
- Maintain strict food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Manage stock ordering, quality control, and inventory levels.
- Implement and maintain preventative equipment maintenance schedules.
- Follow opening and closing procedures to uphold restaurant standards.
