We are looking for an experienced and passionate Catering Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group UK&I, overseeing all catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, with a contract of 28.75 hours per week.
As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth kitchen and service operations, while delivering exceptional food experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare delicious food to the highest standards
- Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure excellent food and customer service
- Regularly communicate with your line manager to track KPIs and targets
- Represent Compass Group UK&I, maintaining a positive brand image
- Act as a liaison between customers and the culinary/service teams to exceed expectations
- Lead and support your teams, ensuring everyone excels in their roles
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards for full compliance across catering and service teams
The Ideal Catering Supervisor:
- Passionate about great food and delivering exceptional service
- At least two years of catering experience
- Experience managing teams in a similar role
- Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ambitious and motivated, always seeking to upskill
