Head Chef – New Scotland Yard
Monday to Friday Role!
Note: Successful candidates will need to clear Met Police vetting.
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join our ESS team at New Scotland Yard, London. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to staff while leading and motivating your team to achieve their best. You will be responsible for overseeing breakfast, lunch, hospitality, coffee shop, and retail services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee food preparation to the highest standards
- Ensure timely food production for smooth service
- Maintain stock levels and ensure availability of all necessary ingredients
- Develop and plan menus to meet client and customer expectations
- Ensure food quality and hygiene standards are consistently upheld
- Manage a team of 3 kitchen staff, providing feedback and coaching
- Ensure completion of COSHH and Food Hygiene training for all kitchen team members
About You:
- Proven culinary experience is essential
- Previous management experience in a similar role
