Main Duties of the Job

  • Provide clinical expertise as a first-contact practitioner, assessing patients without prior GP or Consultant referral.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning skills to assess presenting conditions, interpret findings, develop working and differential diagnoses, and formulate personalized management plans aligned with patient goals, local service availability, and national guidelines.
  • Manage a diverse MSK caseload, with referrals from both primary and secondary care.
  • Supervise and support a team of rotational physiotherapists in their MSK rotations, including Band 5 and Band 6 staff.
