Intermediate Care and Community Therapy Physiotherapist

Job Type: Full Time
Job Location: England

Company Overview

Our vision is to achieve better health and care for all, and we are proud to be national pioneers in integrating health and social care.

We firmly believe that the best way to support individuals is by focusing on what matters to them, placing them at the heart of everything we do, and seamlessly integrating services around their needs. Providing care as close to home as possible benefits both individuals and communities.

Now more than ever, our vision is critical. The impact of COVID-19 has intensified pressures across health and social care, while widening health inequalities, particularly in our most deprived coastal communities.

We deliver health and social care services directly to people in their homes and local communities. Additionally, we operate Torbay Hospital, which provides acute hospital services, along with five community hospitals, stretching from Dawlish to Brixham.

Each year, we support approximately:

  • 500,000 face-to-face patient contacts in homes and communities
  • 78,000 visits to our A&E department
We serve a resident population of 286,000, with an additional 100,000 visitors at any given time during the summer season.
  • About the Job
