Job Details
- Position: Coin Processor
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00 – 21:00 (35 hours per week)
- Location: 120 Dartmouth, Middleway, Birmingham, B7 4AJ
- Salary: £21,840 (plus shift allowance), rising to £22,500 after probation
Your Role
As a Coin Processor, you will be responsible for accurately handling, sorting, and processing incoming and outgoing coin consignments while meeting customer deadlines and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet shift/team performance targets, including coins processed per hour and accuracy rates.
- Adhere to coin processing procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Identify and report any discrepancies to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Sort, weigh, and prepare coin consignments using machinery and lifting equipment.
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment while following Health & Safety standards.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
Skills & Experience Required
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Good time management, attendance, and reliability.
- Understanding of Health & Safety standards.
- Previous experience with heavy machinery is preferred.
