Job Opportunity: Counterbalance Forklift Operator
Thorn Baker Construction is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator for an immediate start at a site in Newark.
Requirements:
✅ Mandatory: RTITB, CPCS, or NPORS certification (with Counterbalance endorsement)
✅ Valid counterbalance certificate
✅ Two relevant commercial references (Site Manager/Supervisor contact details)
✅ Full PPE (Hard hat, Hi-vis, Safety boots)
✅ Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT)
- Assisting trades on-site and performing general laboring duties as required
- Moving and lifting materials around the site
- Ensuring the site remains safe, clean, and clear of obstructions
- Supporting overall site operations
