About the Quality Auditors

Location & Duration

  • Location: Tualatin, OR 97062
  • Duration: 2-3+ months
  • Schedule: Onsite, 5 days a week (40 hours per week)
  • Educational Requirement: Associate’s degree in Electronics/Electrical (must be listed on resume)

Key Responsibilities for a Quality Auditors

As a Quality Auditor, you will ensure product quality at every stage of the manufacturing and delivery process, adhering to Quality Management protocols. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control inspections for products with medium complexity and manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure component conformity by performing incoming inspections and metrology activities.
  • Utilize engineering drawings to verify accuracy and maintain safety standards in the workplace.
  • Define and enhance standard inspection protocols, selecting the appropriate measurement tools.
  • Identify and analyze defects, supporting rework activities for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA).
  • Monitor and record defect trends, providing solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Address production line quality issues, driving corrective and preventive actions while escalating concerns to stakeholders (Suppliers, QE/SQE, etc.).
  • Implement best available techniques and tools to optimize inspection methodologies.
  • Oversee the calibration of measurement equipment and ensure nonconformity management process execution.
  • Support part qualification processes (PPAP/FAIR) for manufacturing components.

Systems & Tools Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office Suite for data tracking and reporting
  • Quality improvement tools, techniques, and models
  • ERP systems for manufacturing and supply chain processes

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with PCBA troubleshooting, including identifying electronic components and directional polarity
  • Comfortable with PCBA rework, soldering SMT, and through-hole components
