This role plays a crucial part in ensuring compliance with behavioral health best practices, Medicaid regulations, HIPAA standards, and Joint Commission requirements.
About the Role: Clinical Compliance Auditor
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Compliance Auditor to oversee and maintain all aspects of compliance within a behavioral health organization in Arizona. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, ensuring adherence to Medicaid, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards, and supporting leadership in identifying areas of compliance risk.
Key Responsibilities of a Clinical Compliance Auditor
- Work closely with leadership and management to evaluate compliance and risk areas through regular internal audits.
- Oversee the company’s compliance and quality program, ensuring all processes align with industry regulations.
- Conduct audits of internal procedures and case notes within physical locations to maintain high-quality standards.
- Monitor and implement updates related to federal and state Medicaid policies, HIPAA, and payer compliance.
- Develop, execute, and communicate audit findings and processes to external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience for a Clinical Compliance Auditor

- Proven experience in Medicaid compliance management or Medicaid service delivery.
