Qualifications Essential
- Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registration
Desirable
- Relevant special interest group membership
- Evidence of CPPD to Master’s level or equivalent ( i.e qualified member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, Injection Therapy, relevant MSc and drug prescribing course)
Knowledge Essential
- Good knowledge of complex pain syndromes
- Be able to assess and diagnose a range of complex conditions providing appropriate treatment options
- Awareness of trust vision, values and strategic objectives
- Good working knowledge of all areas of clinical governance including quality, audit and risk management
- Understands the legal responsibilities of the profession
- Excellent knowledge of the Equality Act and its implications related to service provision and learning within a public sector body
Desirable
- Knowledge of CQC standards and how they relate to outpatients
Experience Essential
- Gateway question: Significant experience in musculoskeletal specialty of Physiotherapy in the NHS or equivalent experience.
- Broad experience of MSK conditions
- Experience of operational team management
