About The Role

We are now looking for an experienced Procurement Scheduler to work closely with Procurement Team in order to assist with daily tasks and to keep all supporting information up to date to strengthen the department.

Main area of focus is around day to day scheduling of all products; keeping all supporting documents up to date and relevant departments informed of the schedules.

Provide cover for the Procurement Team.

As a Procurement Scheduler, some of the responsibilities will be:

  • Take ownership of packaging and ingredient stocks; place bulk orders with suppliers, raise Despatch Orders to call stock off from Turners as per Planning request and forecast requirements
  • Place orders for all new and existing Promo flashes to ensure sufficient stock levels
  • Keep forecasts up to date by liaising with Commercial and Retail Forecaster, keep suppliers updated with any delists/major uplifts etc.
  • Order sundries stocks in line with forecast and raise PO’s as necessary.
  • Place frequent orders of film, using daily count to monitor usage.
  • Learn daily Procurement tasks to provide cover when needed and to further career
  • Ensure Fops systems are up to date with delivery dates, quantities of orders and current products to allow for smooth ordering/booking in process. Raise requests for any new products to be added prior to ordering.
  • Ensure all packaging/ingredients required for pre-production trials are ordered and information sent to NPD
  • Keep Packaging Template up to date with all current codes and prices
  • Attend NPD meetings to provide input into packaging concepts, ideas and feedback to team

To succeed as a Procurement Scheduler, we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:

  • Have the ability to liaise with the site management teams
  • Pro-actively engage the Procurement team with ideas for development
