Your Role

The purpose of the role is to assist the Key Account Manager in various administrative tasks to implement strategy by per selected customer.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Administrative expert with sales operational excellence.
  • Be the internal expert on the customer and their administrative processes.
  • Accurate trade promotional management.
  • Updating EPOS and promotional trackers.
  • Accurate pricing management.
  • Invoice release and rebate review process.
  • Basic understanding of a customer P&L and the variables which can impact performance.
  • Manage customer operations striving for accuracy and ‘right first time’ mindset.
  • Keep the consumer at the heart of the plan by working collaboratively internally.

Your Key Tasks:

  • Assist the Key Account Manager in the development of account plans for selected customers
  • Manage the new line process for range reviews and ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Build strong and progressive relationships with buying assistant contacts per customer, as well as internally.
  • Tracking/measuring the success of growth initiatives (launches and promotions/activations)
  • Monitor and provide insight on sales performance by customer.
  • Online monitoring and improvements to retailer sites.
  • Competitor reporting.
  • Ensure promotions are loaded accurately into systems with associated uplifts reflected in volume forecasts.
  • Scope to directly manage smaller accounts within the Grocery channel.

    Your Attributes

    Must haves:

    • At least 1 year of working experience in Sales or Managing customers (retail or supplier side)
    • Proven track record of meeting deadlines – accurately – first time
    • Experience processing complex data and using trade promotion systems.
    • Ability to demonstrate people led & purposeful leadership
    • Excellent relationship building skills
    • A passion for the Beauty & Personal Care World
    • Experience and understanding of Grocery customers & their ways of working

    Nice to have:

    • E commerce/Digital experience
    • Experience in Beauty & Personal Care Industry / working with BPC brands
    • Degree level education, preferably in business/sales and marketing.
