We rely on our Warehouse/Yard Operatives to look after our stock, and make sure the warehouse & yard remains organised so that we can provide a great service for our customers through efficient picking of materials. Working in one of our branches you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Warehouse/Yard Operative with Huws Gray:
- Loading and unloading of branch deliveries.
- Making sure all incoming stock is accounted for, raising any missing stock or low stock levels to management
- Keeping the warehouse & yard tidy, making sure that stock is stored in line with health and safety guidelines
- Safeguard against the theft of our stock by being security conscious at all times.

Although not essential, a Forklift licence would be an advantage for this role.
