Job Description

Position Summary: Seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the establishment and day-to-day operations of a new, office-based lab. This unique opportunity allows the RN to support a new facility providing guidance and helping to build a new facility from the ground up. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in this ever changing environmant. Eventually this position will work within Vascular, Interventional Radiology, Pain Management, and Orthopedic settings. The RN will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care, assisting in the entire continuum of care from pre-op to recovery, and providing leadership in patient management.

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Assisting in the entire continuum of care from pre-op, surgery, and recovery

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical, psychosocial, and cultural factors.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

• Educate patients on procedures and provide support throughout their care experience.

• Assist physicians during procedures, administer treatments, and document nursing care accurately.

• Maintain administrative and clinical leadership, ensuring adherence to ethical, legal, and institutional standards.

• Provide telephone triage and in-office patient support.

• Support team development by precepting and participating in ongoing education.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

• Education: Current D.C. licensure as a Registered Nurse (or proof of application); Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an associate degree/diploma in Nursing.

• Experience: Minimum of two years clinical experience; experience in OR/PACU or hospital/ambulatory surgical center (ASC) is preferred.

• Certifications: ACLS required, BLS preferred.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 20 lbs. Manual dexterity for computer and equipment use.
