Finance/Accounting intern

We are a Bay area based real estate company. We manage a portfolio of residential properties as well as build homes in the San Francisco Bay-Area. We are a small team of dedicated team members. We’re growing fast and we’re looking for an outstanding Business operations/Accounting intern to assist our team. This gives us an opportunity to work together and evaluate if we are the right fit for each other, for a long-term growth career opportunity.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and interpret business and project data to generate actionable insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support Decision-Making: Gather and analyze data related to business performance, customer needs, and market trends to help guide strategic decisions.
• Financial Oversight: Assist with budget tracking, cost estimation, and expense reporting to ensure our projects remain financially sustainable.
• General Administration: Help with day-to-day office tasks, including creating documents, updating records, and coordinating schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Strong accounting/finance skills
• Excellent ability to multitask
• Self driven
• Experience working effectively both independently and within a team
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Flexibility in schedule and style
• Deep problem-solving skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS/ABOUT YOU:

• You have a college degree or are working towards one.
• You have a valid driver’s license
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, Google docs, Microsoft Excel and technologically savvy.
• You MUST be able to juggle multiple projects at once
• You are extremely detail oriented and are able to multi-task
• You are eager to find a company to fully commit to and grow with
• You work well under pressure and in fast paced environments
• You have great people skills and you are fun to be around
• You are very resourceful.

This is a paid internship.
