About the job

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of patient scheduling, including initial intake set-up, maintaining recurring appointment schedules, monitoring appointment availability, and proactively filling open appointments with prospective patients
  • Act as the communication liaison between patients and providers in a timely manner
  • Follow processes aligned with administering record requests, intake forms, and routing other patient related messages and forms
  • Manage multiple simultaneous tasks and prioritize based on urgency
  • De-escalate and manage patient conflicts to assist in resolving their concerns successfully
  • Work within our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain records
  • General office duties such as copying, filing, faxing, sorting mail, greeting visitors, and maintaining the cleanliness of shared office areas
  • Maintain patient confidentiality to comply with HIPAA guidelines
  • Cross-train to support Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (training provided)

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Driver’s license and car required for occasional local administrative errands
  • Two or more years’ medical reception experience preferred
