Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in maintaining infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Be able to utilize Carestream Softdent and Dexis dental software for patient management and accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with Dr Stepka to provide comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

• Proven experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with a strong background in general dentistry.
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and HIPAA regulations is required.
• Experience with Carestream SoftDent or similar dental management systems is highly desirable.

Pay: $42+/Hour

Expected hours: 8 – 32 hours per week

• Day shift
• No weekends
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

License/Certification:

Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred)
