About the job
Insight Global is seeking a Special Education TA for one of it’s school clients in the Northern Chicago suburbs. The Special Education Teacher Aide will work alongside the special education teacher to support a group of 4, high school male students with diverse learning needs, providing individualized assistance and fostering an inclusive learning environment. This position requires a compassionate and patient individual who can assist in the management of classroom behaviors which occasionally require physical intervention and/or bathroom assistance. The program is an Orthodox Jewish community school, and therefore candidates shall be open-minded and respectful.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*Special Education background or experience (it’s okay if it comes in unconventional form like a sibling)
*Team player / Soft skills: patience, compassionate, flexible
*Physically able; specifically able to hold or relocate a student if student becomes aggressive and/or bathroom needs.
*Safety Care Trained
