About the job
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial operations through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate may also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and company executives.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day company accounts
- Assist current controller with financial operations and transactions
- Implements budget and cash flow forecasting and management, job cost analysis
- Ensure government compliance in all tasks
- input AP & AR into Quick Books
- provide company execs with reports (AP & AR, aging etc)
- transactional data ingest and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years experience as assistant financial controller
- Proficiency with current financial software Quick Books experience a ‘must have’.
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Entertainment industry experience a plus
