Job Summary:

Seeking a results-driven Director of Catering to lead sales and event execution efforts. The role involves soliciting new and existing accounts, managing social and group event bookings, and collaborating with operations for seamless execution. The candidate must have experience in sales strategy, menu customization, client communication, and local vendor partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue through proactive sales efforts (calls, site visits, email, etc.).
  • Book and detail group, meeting, and social events.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Customize menus based on client needs and trends.
  • Utilize sales systems like CI/TY and Lightspeed (preferred).
  • Represent the property in local organizations and industry events.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed.
