Scripture is foundational for evangelism, discipleship, church planting and spiritual growth, but today there are over 1,200 languages that still need Bible translation work started for the first time.

As a supported* HR specialist your contributions will ensure that the people God has led to

You’ll make an impact when you…

  • Work with the team to shepherd staff throughout their employment experience.
  • Facilitate training, maintain documentation and communicate with staff about employment information, guidelines and laws.
  • Assist with performance management, conflict management and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate on department initiatives and build relationships.
  • Represent the HR team in meetings, projects, workshops and partnership efforts.
  • Drive functional excellence, people initiatives and process improvements.
  • Develop improvements and strategies.
  • Respond to requests for assistance, participate in HR team engagements and facilitate functions within the team.
  • Support administration, coordination and application of human resources policies, procedures and practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR best practices, employee handbook, policies and procedures.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’re comfortable facilitating interviews, leading discussions and discussing challenging topics.
  • You’re confident in making decisions and handling issues.
  • You’re detail-oriented, manage multiple tasks and learn new things quickly.
  • You have a strong knowledge of HR and legal compliance best practices.
  • You’re proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You have an associate’s degree and at least three years of experience in human resources, counseling, social work or ministry or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • You demonstrate the desire and ability to support corporate biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation (Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification).
  • You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.

It’s a bonus if…

  • You have previous experience working overseas.
  • You have one year of previous experience working in HR.
  • You have previous nonprofit work or volunteer experience.
  • You have SHRM-CP certification.
  • You’re familiar with Workday HCM.
