About the job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our sales team to support the growth of our socks and hosiery business. In this role, you will assist with managing client relationships, processing orders, sample and showroom management, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our corporate sales activities. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Account Executive in managing the full sales process, including showroom organization, client meetings, and administrative tasks.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to monitor order tracking, manage orders, and provide updates on shipping and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain and update files to ensure accurate records.
  • Serve as a point of contact for buyers, addressing inquiries regarding current orders, shipping statuses, delivery schedule changes, and overall business updates.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure clients are informed and satisfied throughout the sales process.
  • Analyze and review account selling reports, identifying trends and actionable insights.
  • Run and distribute weekly/monthly reports on shipping, order status, and inventory
  • Prepare materials for meetings including style selling, previous/current orders, and other relevant metrics, for assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate and attend appointments to assist with presentations and client engagement.
  • Manage sample inventory effectively, ensuring samples are organized and prepared for meetings and accounts
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by the Account Executive or sales leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year in sales support, customer service, or a related role, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP a plus.
  • Strong data management and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong ability to partner across departments.
  • Interest or experience in fashion, retail, or legwear is a plus.
