Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Bellingham Pediatric Therapy is looking for a full time pediatric OT to work on-site in a preschool setting in beautiful Bellingham, WA alongside educators, OTs, SLPs, and daycare staff to help support toddlers and children age 1-5. We are a small team of highly skilled OTs looking for an pediatric occupational therapist who is comfortable supporting young children in their classrooms with a variety of diagnoses including developmental delay, sensory processing disorder, picky eating, fine and gross motor deficits. This role is less about pulling out to provide individual therapy, and more about pushing-in to provide inclusion and support to help kids thrive! This OT will be offered benefits such as health insurance, dental, vision, a 401k, and paid time off! This position could be full time up to 40 hours per week, or split between the right candidates! Required Credentials:

• Current Washington state occupational therapy license
• Current Basic Life Support and First Aid
• Driver’s license

Preferred:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• 1+ years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy

Responsibilities

• Completes appropriate developmental screenings.
• Collaborates with teachers, therapists, and staff to provide support and resources for students.
• Communicates clearly with families, teachers, and other care team members.
• Refers to specialists as appropriate.
• Adheres to HIPPA standards, professional practice standards, and state and federal laws.
• Obtains continuing education as required by OT licensure; maintains and enhances clinical practice skills.
• Adheres to professional practice standards set forth by the AOTA.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
