About the job
Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fantastic, Medical Imaging Company who is looking for an energetic MRI Technologist to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering highly competitive pay, benefits and a sign-on bonus. The ideal candidate
will have a current ARRT and MRI registration combined a high competency in venipuncture and phlebotomy.
Responsibilities
- Communicates with patients to explain MRI procedures and to request important patient information that could limit or hinder the procedure.
- Positions patients onto examining table and places the appropriate coils to cover areas of interest while adhering to protocols set forth by radiologist.
- Accurately enters patient data, anatomical areas to be scanned and patient orientation into MRI equipment and computer while prescribing images with consistent positioning and angles.
- Communicates to the patient through the entire procedure to ensure patient comfort and diagnostic quality.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or two year degree in Radiography.
- Current ARRT registration is required.
- Current MRI registration is highly preferred.
- High competency in phlebotomy and venipuncture.
- Must have a current CPR certification.
