About the job

Our client, based in Willow Grove, PA, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager.

**This is a HYBRID role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).

**Local candidates only; not open to relocation at this time.**

Summary

As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a critical role in managing key HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, leave processes, and benefits administration. You’ll ensure smooth HR operations while fostering a positive work environment, responding promptly to employee and leadership needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Benefits & 401k Management

  • Support the VP of HR with the annual open enrollment process, ensuring clear communication and smooth administration.
  • Partner with payroll and benefit brokers to ensure accurate submission and processing of paperwork, aligning with carrier and billing records.

Leave of Absence Management

  • Administer all employee leave processes, including medical, family, disability, and other leaves, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Track and monitor leave balances and return-to-work dates.

Compensation

  • Ensure roles are mapped to appropriate salary ranges and make data-driven recommendations for market adjustments.
  • Oversee variable incentive programs and provide support for annual merit increases.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations, ensuring open communication across teams.
  • Investigate employee concerns, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Partner with legal counsel when necessary and ensure compliance with labor laws.

Performance Management

  • Lead the annual performance appraisal process, training managers and fostering a culture of continuous feedback.
  • Support the development of performance improvement plans when needed.

People Management

Manage and mentor the HR Administrator, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 7+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
