About the Company – Our client in the Mercer County, New Jersey area is seeking a Director of Human Resources for a hybrid position. This full-time exempt role involves managing all human resources and office management responsibilities, including functions such as human resources, benefits, and office administration. The Director will oversee a staff of eight employees and contractors.
About the Role – The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for various aspects of human resources, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, training, team development, teambuilding, compensation planning, benefits, time reporting and PTO tracking, employee policy administration, organizational announcements, and 401k plan management. The Director will also serve as the primary contact for company’s benefits brokers and providers, , 401k plan.

- Interact daily with executive management team and team leaders
- Primary contact for benefits brokers and providers, 401k plan record keeper and investment provider, employment and benefits legal counsel, recruiting firms and job candidates, and service providers for technology, data, and office equipment
- Oversight of administrative staff providing support for resource planning, sales coordination, and property management
- Manage relationships with property management
- Other administrative projects and objectives as assigned
Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in human resources with minimum 7+ years’ experience highly desired. Experienced human resource generalist with prior experience managing human resources and office manager functions for a mid-sized privately owned business. Proactive recruitment of valuation professionals through the management of relationships with third party recruiters. Proven experience in hiring, managing, and developing administrative staff with a variety of backgrounds, career desires, and experiences. Effective problem-solver with broad authority to make decisions for your areas of responsibility. Ability to handle a wide variety of projects, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines/commitments.
