Medical Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join a medical practice located in Prescott Valley, AZ. The Medical Assistant will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in an office setting. This position requires knowledge of medical administrative tasks and patient care.
This role requires you to be onsite 5X/week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, scanning, obtaining referrals and other tasks as deemed necessary.
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Assist with billing procedures, coding medical procedures accurately for insurance claims, and handle financial transactions.
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals via phone and email.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree related to this field.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
